SpielbergPod - The Steven Spielberg Film Podcast

The SpielbergPod is a show where me and some friends rewatch the films of Steven Spielberg going through them one at a time . It's a mix of film discussion, humour and just good ol' fashioned conversation among friends. Features of the show include recastings of the films with current day actors, companion pieces to the film and top five lists.

In this episode me and my friend Kieran Balloo discuss the Steven Spielberg film, 'Always'.

Along the way we bring up 90's pop-band Ace of Base, we talk about how good John Goodman is/ how annoying Richard Dreyfuss is, I bring up the best new guest on film podcast 'Doug Loves Movies' (recommended), I confuse Margot Robbie and Margot Kidder, we reminisce about the greatness of The Sarah Silverman Show, we wonder whether Suicide Squad will be any good, ponder the age of Channing Tatum and we look ahead to Hook and.... Jurassic Park.

In this mid-week bonus episode, me and my friend Paul discuss the Ivan Reitman film 'Ghostbusters 2'.

Along the way we talk memories of the animated show ('The Real Ghostbusters'), we do some ropey impressions, we talk Masters of the Universe (the He-Man film starring Dolph Lundgren), we discuss the film roles of Ernie Hudson, we get into a disagreement on Kim Basinger's hair and I struggle with the geography of New York (turns out the Statue of Liberty is on... an island).
